Ever since he was a little boy, Edward was always looking for the next big thing to conquer. That's how boys are. So he'd conquer the back yard. Then he'd conquer the neighborhood. Then he'd conquer his school yard or the nearby park or wherever his imagination could take him.
But two things were always true. He always wanted to be the leader. And he always was passionate about fixing things, especially cars.
So it was no surprise to me when he decided to start Edward's Transmissions and Engines more than three decades ago. It was a sensible way to combine his interests. And, today, he's the leader in fixing things. Isn't it funny how things turn out?
Please indulge me as I brag a little about Edward's shops and how they serve their customers.
Edward and His Shops
Go Where Your Customers Live
From the beginning, I told Edward that he had to have shops all around town - because when your car isn't running right, you don't want to run all around. That just makes sense.
So Edward's built the business (under my watchful eye, of course) to include seven shops in the Indianapolis area. They all provide the best service possible by Edward's professional team.

Do What Your Customers Want
Since Edward started his transmissions and engines business, he's worked hard to give his customers what they want - in order to make their lives easier. Here are just some of the reasons why I tell all of my friends they need to let Edward and his team work on their cars.
FAST Repair Times
FREE Towing 24/7
within ten miles and when Edward does the repair
FREE Test Drive
All Major Extended Warranties Accepted
Specially Priced Rental Cars Available
Members of the BBB and Chamber of Commerce
Locally Owned and Operated
And, of course, Edward is just the best son and runs the best shops for all types of vehicles.
When Edward started servicing cars (back when he was just a little boy), he served all types of cars - Matchbox, Hot Wheels, Corgi cars, anything that he could find (or that his friends brought over to our house).
Today, Edward and his team take the same approach. They'll fix all types of car and truck transmissions and drive components, including:
Front Wheel Drive (FWD)
All Wheel Drive (AWD)
And any Matchbox, Hot Wheels or Corgi cars - after all, that's where Edward gained his first experience. Those cars will always be close to his heart.
Help Your Customers Decide
The best way to make a decision is to find out all you can and learn what you need to know. That's how I taught Edward and that's how he helps customers decide what they need.
Once you're in one of the seven shops, Edward's team will use all their experience and computers and other diagnosic tools for any decision. Plus they'll answer all your questions without any hesitation. That's just the kind of people they are.
But even before you get to one of the shops, you probably have questions about your car. So Edward compiled a questions-and-answers list to get you started.
